Positions

True Niseko is seeking experienced ski instructors to join our dedicated team in the heart of Hirafu. With a focus on premium guest experiences and a supportive team culture, we provide more than just a place to work. we offer an environment where professionals can grow, lead, and thrive.

Over 80% of our instructors return next season, drawn by our high standards, strong team dynamics, and commitment to quality on and off the mountain.

Key Responsibilities:

   •  Deliver high-quality private ski lessons tailored to the goals, pace, and ability of each guest

   •  Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members

   •  Provide guidance on equipment, mountain safety, and local area knowledge when needed

   •  Adapt teaching style to different age groups, learning styles, and cultural expectations

   •  Support and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture

Requirements:

   •  International recognized ski certification

   •  Minimum 3 seasons of teaching on snow experience

   •  Valid driver’s license

   •  Eligible to obtain a working visa for Japan (Working holiday visa)

Preferred:

   •  Dual certification (Ski & Snowboard)

   •  Fluent in a second language (Korean, Japanese or Chinese)

   •  Avalanche safety-related certifications (for a potential backcountry guide role)

Do you have a passion for capturing incredible moments while on skis or a snowboard?

Our ski school is looking for a part-time Photographer & Social Media Marketer to document the excitement of our lessons and grow our online community.

What You’ll Do:

  • Guest Photography: Take high-quality photos and videos of guests during their ski lessons and activities, and provide them with the content.

  • Content Creation: Produce engaging photos, Reels, and short-form videos featuring our ski school programs and activities.

  • Social Media Management: Manage our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook), including content scheduling and community engagement.

  • Strategy & Growth: Develop creative content ideas and use analytics to help increase our followers and engagement.

We’re Looking For Someone With:

  • Experience with photography, videography, and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and algorithms.

  • A creative eye with excellent attention to detail.

  • Essential: Advanced ski or snowboard skills are required to safely and effectively capture on-mountain action.

Do you have a knack for numbers and a keen eye for detail?

We’re seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records and ensure our accounts are accurate and organized.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain Records: Accurately record daily transactions, invoices, and receipts.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Manage Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and track business expenses.

  • Assist as Needed: Help with payroll, taxes, and budgeting.

We’re Looking For Someone With:

  • Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

  • Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Guest Service Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations at our front desk. This is a key leadership position suited to someone with a background in ski school operations or luxury hospitality, who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands the importance of matching service excellence with logistical precision.

Role Summary

Location: True Niseko Office, Muwa Hotel, Hirafu, Niseko, Japan

Contract: October 2025 – April 2026 (6–7 months)

Salary: From ¥340,000/month + various bonus

Schedule: 5 days/week during winter season Dec – Mar, flexible hours in off-season

Start Date: October 1, 2025

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests in person and by email

  • Manage bookings and allocate instructors based on guest needs

  • Handle scheduling changes and daily operations

  • Support instructors and maintain strong internal communication

  • Stepping in for key decisions when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in guest services, ski schools, or high-end hospitality

  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

  • A calm, clear approach to multitasking in a busy environment

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in booking systems or guest records

  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor

  • Must be eligible for work in Japan (visa support available for qualified candidates)
